How do you know I’m the right counsellor for you? It’s a question that can actively prevent us from reaching out and getting the support we need.
The problem is that there are so many baffling terms and so many different people offering slightly different things, and to top it all, anyone can call themselves a therapist or counsellor, so it can feel overwhelming to even know where to begin.
I believe the most important connections start with a conversation. When seeking therapy, that’s no different.
That’s why I offer a free 10-minute initial telephone consultation so that you can ask me any questions you might have, and hear more about me and how I work.
The relationship between you and your therapist is so important, and the trust that you build. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Ethical Framework so that you can be assured that safety, confidentiality, and professional standards in therapy are adhered to.
Equally, I know the importance of flexibility and adaptability. This is exactly why I offer in-person, online, and telephone sessions at times to suit - early morning, evening, and weekend appointments, with no need to stick to a particular slot for a fixed term. My work is also open-ended with regular reviews, so that you can feel in control of the pace of our work together.
If you would like to book an initial free consultation to see if I’m the right therapist to work with you, book a free initial consultation via my website.
